He is especially passionate about user experience, and believes the best backend work is often invisible: it just makes things fast, reliable, and simple for the people relying on it. That mindset shapes how he approaches infrastructure at Electric Miles, favoring solutions that are robust under the hood but effortless on the surface.

Lekan Jimoh

Lekan Jimoh

Lead Front End Engineer

Lekan leads the frontend at Electric Miles, shaping the screens that drivers, installers, and charge point operators reach for every day. With 8 years as a software developer, he's learned that great frontend work lives in the details most people never notice: a page that loads before you feel the wait, a form that catches a mistake before it costs you, a layout that reads just as clearly on a phone in a car park as on a desktop.

What drives him is the meeting point of design and engineering: taking messy, real-world requirements, live charger data, edge cases, half a dozen languages, and turning them into interfaces that feel obvious and calm. Lekan cares about performance, accessibility, and consistency, and about a codebase other engineers actually enjoy working in.

For Lekan, the reward is simple: someone gets what they came to do done, without ever thinking about the software that got them there.

Senior Backend Engineer

Chimezie is a Senior Backend Engineer at Electric Miles, where he works on the server-side systems powering emPACT and the APIs connecting drivers, installers, and charge point operators. With over 12 years of software development experience, primarily in PHP and Node.js, he has built and maintained systems designed to stay fast, reliable, and easy to build on.

Chimezie cares deeply about performance, reliability, and clean architecture, and believes strong backend work should quietly shape a smooth user experience rather than draw attention to itself. He enjoys breaking down complex problems into simple, well-structured solutions, and takes pride in code that other engineers can pick up and extend with confidence.

Outside of work, Chimezie is a keen movie watcher and stays active through football and table tennis.

Backend Engineer

Prakhar is a Backend Engineer at Electric Miles, where he works on the server-side systems that keep the emPACT platform fast, reliable and running smoothly for charge point operators across the network.

He joined Electric Miles early and has worked across almost every part of the business - from sales and marketing to finance, QA, and platform onboarding before finding his home in backend engineering. That breadth gives him a perspective on the product that goes well beyond the codebase and he believes the best backend work is the kind users never have to think about.

Outside of work, Prakhar is an open-source contributor and occasionally swaps out the keyboard for a camera, some of which ends up at prakharsing7.vercel.app/photos.
